ABOUT NATALIE MONGA

I am a journalist and visual storyteller pursuing a degree in journalism at American University. Throughout my time here, I have explored different niches within journalism, with a particular interest in investigative and documentary reporting. My work combines in-depth reporting with visual storytelling to create compelling, impactful narratives.

Currently, I work for American Way of Life (AWOL), where I serve as the director of the multimedia team. In addition to contributing as a photographer and videographer, I lead training sessions for onboarding staff in photography and videography techniques. I am also responsible for directing our semesterly documentary and managing each project our team creates. Through this role, I have strengthened my ability to capture and produce meaningful stories while mentoring others in visual media.
